Lloyd E. Carlock, 60, of 111 E. Goodykoontz St., died Monday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Muskogee.
Services are pending with Owen Funeral Home.

He was born Aug. 28, 1925, in Thayer, Mo. He was tire manager of Quality Tires, Sapulpa.

He is survived by wife Ellen; sons Lloyd of Skiatook, Richard and William of Sapulpa; daughter Cynthia Lewis of Turley; brothers William of California, Carl and Waldo of Sapulpa; sister Helen McCall of Tulsa; and 13 grandchildren.

He lived in Sapulpa for 57 years.

*Lloyd died Oct. 28, 1985 and was buried Nov. 4, 1985 in Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Ellen Florinda Carlock, 68, of Sapulpa, died Saturday, April 28, 2001, at St. John Sapulpa.

Mrs. Carlock was born June 8, 1932 in Ash Flat, Ark. to William and Bennie Ingle Edwards.

She married Lloyd Carlock in 1948 in California. He preceded her in death in 1985.

She had lived in Sapulpa since 1948, coming here from California. She was a homemaker and an avid collector and loved beadwork.

She was the heart of the family, and she always kept her family at heart.

Mrs. Carlock was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter Shirley; her father and mother; two brothers, Johnny and Paul; and a granddaughter, Nancy Ellen.

Survivors include sons, Allen Carlock of Hollister, Mo., Richard Carlock and William "Hank" Carlock, both of Sapulpa; a daughter, Cindy Boggs; two brothers, Charles Edwards of San Bernadino, Calif. and Robert Edwards of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters, Virgie Taylor of Sapulpa and Louise Bowen of Portland, Ore.; 14 grandchildren, including granddaughters Phyllicia, Veronica, Dawniel, Tiesa and Angel; and many great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 111 E. Goodykoontz in Sapulpa the day of the service.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2001, at Green Hill Cemetery in Sapulpa with the Rev. Richard King officiating.

Casketbearers will be Michael Carlock, Kenny Lewis, Raymond Lewis, Jonathan Carlock, Daniel Carlock, Jason Carlock, Lloyd Carlock, Jeremy Carlock and Brandon Boggs.

Owen Funeral Home of Sapulpa is in charge of arrangements.

*Ellen died April 28, 2001 and was buried May 4, 2001 in Green Hills Memorial Gardens beside her husband Lloyd Carlock.
