Grace Cherry Carr, 85, Bristow, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 1994.

Services were 10:30 a.m. today in Magnolia Memorial Gardens, Bristow, with a memorial service at 11 a.m. in the Bristow Church of Christ. Bill Conkling officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home.

Carr was born Sept. 20, 1909 in Fulton County, Ark.

On Aug. 2, 1930, she married Nelson Carr in Fulton County.

She had been a resident of Bristow since 1983, coming from Watsonville, Calif. She retired in the mid 1970s after working as a vegetable handler with Western Growers Association. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Bristow.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988; by her daughters Mary Hettie Carr in 1931 and Shirley Pauline Carr in 1954, and by two sisters, Anna Bishop and Daisy Ellis.

Survivors include two sisters, Violet Carr and Faye Coil, both of Bristow.
