Walksie Jeffries Carroll, 99, 9 North Boyd Place, Sapulpa, died Wednesday at her home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Saturday, at South Heights Cemetery Chapel with Rev. David Houchin officiating. It will be a closed casket service.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

She was born Nov 29, 1893, to William and Mary Jeffries in Linn Creek, Mo. She married Roy M. Carroll on Feb 7, 19215, in Linn Creek. He preceded her in death in 1966. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Carroll was member of the First Baptist Church of Sapulpa and taught Sunday School. She was a member of Women's Missionary Union at Ridgeway Baptist Church. She moved to Sapulpa from Byers, Colo., in 1980, but lived much of her life in Sapulpa.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Carroll of Tulsa; daughters, Burnidine Martin of Byers, Color., and Velata Boyd Boyd of Sapulpa; sisters, Maude Fisher of Springhill, La., and Norma Kidwell of Eldon, Mo.; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 6 North Boyd Place. The family requests donations to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
