Agnes G. Castro, 75
Louisburg-Services for Agnes G. Castro, 75, Louisburg, will be
at 2 p.m. Friday in Hopwell Baptist Church, Polk County, with
the Rev. Trevis Stockham officiating. Burial will be in the
church cemetery under the direction of Vaughan-Cantlon Funeral
Home, Urbana.
Mrs. Castro died at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Hermitage Care Center
after a long illness.
A former resident of the state of California, she moved to
Louisburg during the past year. She was a member of the Baptist
Church.
Survivors include two sons, Sid Barrett, Goodson, and Vernon
Holland, Louisburg, two daughters, Wilma Bettencourt, Louisburg,
and Cathy Deterra, Milpitas, Calif. three brothers, Frank
Gilreath, Bristow, OKla. Carmen Gilreath, Skiatook, Okla. and
Jim Gilreath, Beggs, Okla. two sisters, Ludie Barrett, Stroud,
Okla. and Opal Pappas, Portland, Wash: 24 grandchildren, 70
great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral
chapel.
