Vernon V. Chase, 54, Sapulpa, died Monday in Tulsa as a result of a construction accident in Rogers County.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Thursday at Moore-Southlawn Chapel with Rev. Don Queen officiating.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park in Tulsa under the direction of Moore-Southlawn Chapel.

He was born in Branson, Mo. Retired from the U.S. Air Force, Chase was a 32nd Degree Mason of pilgrim Sonic Lodge 522 and a member of International Union of Operating Engineers. He married Lois Watts.

Survivors include his wife, Lois; father, Lee Chase of Crane, Mo., sons, Mark Chase of Sperry, Jimmy Holman of Tulsa, and Joe Warrington of Avant; daughters, Bethena Shipley of Sperry and Marsha Lee Holman of the home; brothers, Ralph Chase of Branson, Mo., Carl Chase of Spokane, Wash., Ivan Chase of Chadahuchi, Fla., Jessie Chase and Fred Chase, both of Crane, Mo., sisters, his twin, Vera Moore of Aurora, Mo., Esther Cuttbirth, Edith Chase, and Kay Deckert, all of Crane, Mo.; seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
