Charles B. Cherry, 74, of Tulsa, died Wednesday at his home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 pm Friday, at East Side Christian Church in Tulsa with Dr. Paul Wallace officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
He was born May 23, 1918, in Chickasha and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Cherry married his wife, Mary, on March 2, 1941, in Marvista, Calif., she preceded him in death on
Nov 3, 1992. He was a member of East Side Christian Church, Delta #425 Masonic Lodge, Saints of Life Choir of First Baptist Church, a member of Scottish Rite and Alley Cats. He was also a 32 degree Mason and an avid bowler.
Survivors include his daughters, Theresa Henry of Sand Springs and Deborah Broomhall of Jennings; sisters, Margaret Bacher of Tulsa and Frances McAfee of Seattle, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
