Pioneer Sapulpa Grocer and Feed Merchant Dies After 4 Weeks Illness 

Frank H. Cheshire, pioneer grocer and feed merchant of Sapulpa, died at his home at 521 West Bryan Avenue this morning at 5:30 o'clock. He had been seriously ill over a period of four weeks and in poor health for the past two years. 

He was 71 years old. Cheshire was born in Indianola, Ia., in 1865. He was married to Alice Law in 1897. 

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church with Rev. C. D. Todd officiating. The body will be taken to the family plot for burial in Indianola. His widow and daughter, Mrs. Glenn Cole, who survive him will accompany the body to Iowa. 

One son also survives. He is John Cheshire, a missionary to India. 

He came to Sapulpa in the fall of 1901 and was engaged in the feed business with Dr. A. C. Perkins of Galena, Kans. Perkins was at one time mayor of Sapulpa. In late years Cheshire has been the proprietor of a grocery store.
