Willie Chilcoat, 77, of Mounds, died Sunday at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, at First Baptist Church of Mounds with L.O. McNabb officiating.

Burial will follow at Duck Creek Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born July 26, 1915, in Alsuma, and lived in Mounds since 1956, moving from Bixby. He married Edna O. Raby on August 18, 1942, in Tulsa. Mr. Chilcoat retired from American Airlines in 1978 after 17 years with the company as a mechanic/aircraft maintenance man. He served in the U.S. Air Force during world War II. He attended Assembly of God churches.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Pearl Songer, Maybelle Smith Perkins and Pauline Housley.

Survivors include his wife, Edna O. Raby Chilcoat; son, Billy Joe Chilcoat; brother, Elwood Chilcoat of Burlingame, Calif.; sister, Arvie Cundiff of Tracy, Calif.

Funeral services for Willie B. Chilcoat were held this morning at 10 at First Baptist Church of Mounds with L.O. McNabb officiating.

Burial followed at Duck Creek Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Dean Brown, Ray Cundiff, Steve Mock, Randy Jordan, Junior Stice and J. B. Sparks.

Honorary bearers were Sam Burt, Max Chambers, Al Keizor, Edwin Ray, Keith Charboneau and Doug Hyer.

Mr. Chilcoat, a longtime Mounds resident, died Sunday at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa.
