ALLEN COBBS

GLENDORA, Calif. — Former Sapulpan, Allen "Ty" Cobbs, 78, of Glendora, died Saturday in Glendora.

Srevices will be held Wednesday at Oakview Memorial Park in Glendora.

Mr. Cobbs was born April 13, 1912, in Mounds, and moved to Sapulpa as a child. He attended Sapulpa Public Schools and graduated from Sapulpa High School, receiving honors as an outstanding athlete.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie.

Survivors include son Dick Cobbs of Glendora; daughter Sue Klecker of south Lake Tahoe, Calif.; sisters Beulah Postlewaite of Bartlesville and Bea Langford and Dimple Auguish, both of Sapulpa; brother Paul Cobbs of Sapulpa; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
