Frank Thomas Cole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cole, was born on October 26, 1894 at Hamburg, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, he departed on June 20, 1967 at Shattuck at the age of 72 years, eight months. He moved to Canadian, Texas as a young man and spent the remainder of his life there.

Frank was united in marriage to Virginia Garrett in 1920.

He was a veteran of World War I and served as County Commissioner of Hemphill County Precinct for a number of years. He retired in 1959 after serving 39 years with the Texas County.

He was a member of The First Christian Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Virgie, a brother, Ray, of Cheyenne, Four sisters, Winnie Cooper, Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Georgia Ivy, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Dorothy Thomas, Durham, and Hazel Petersen, Cleveland, Oklahoma, also many other relatives and friends.
