Gertrude Cole, 95, 1310 E. Cleveland, died Saturday, Dec 3, 1994 at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services will be 2 pm Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Sapulpa with the Revs. Vernon Howard and Page Cole officiating. Burial will be in South Heights Cemetery.

She was born July 24, 1899 in Jacoby, La., to Robert Lee and Mary Kuhlman Lindsey. She married Henry Robert Cole, Sr., in 1922 in Jacoby and they moved to Sapulpa in 1923.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sapulpa and the Eastern Star of Sapulpa.

Survivors include two sons, Donald Cole, New Salisbury, Indiana and Henry Robert Cole, Beaumont, Texas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1976.

Casket bearers will be Jason B. Cole, Robert S. Cole, Don Cross, Dr. Walter Kale, Dr. Tom Burnett and Tom Sheriff. The family will headquarter at the Super 8 Motel, Sapulpa. Funeral arrangements are directed by Owen Funeral Home.
