Inez Fielding Cole, 98, died Feb. 15, 2006 at St. John Sapulpa after a short illness.

She was born May 28, 1907 near Kellyville to Richard Isom and Nancy Anna Allen Fielding.

During World War II she met and married Willard Cole Jr. in Roswell, NM. Following the war they returned to his home in Gloversville, NY where they lived until his death.

In 1973 she moved to Sapulpa to reside with her sister, the late Esther Rogers.

Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Cole, Jr.; a son, Willie Williams; her parents; and eight brothers and sisters.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Doris and Dick Yocham of Sapulpa and Barbara and Jerry Roberson of Tulsa.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006 at Westside Baptist Church. Private family burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the services.
