Mell Coley, 90, of Tulsa died Sunday, Sep 19, 1994 at the University Village in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Casey officiating.

Burial is to follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Coley was born Jan 12, 1904 in Rockwall County, Texas and has been a Sapulpa resident most of his life. He married Irene Saner on Aug 17, 1942 in Winfield, Kan.

He was a member of the first Christian Church, class president of the Breathen Bible School Class for 20 years and retired from Frisco Railroad. Coley also was a member of the Maconis Lodge and TCU Railroad Club.

Survivors include wife Irene of the home; daughters Karen Fleming of Bartlesville and Linda Anderson of Tulsa; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mell Coley were held at 2 pm Tuesday in the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Russell Casey and Glen Plum officiating.

Interment followed in Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
