HOUSTON — Former Kiefer resident Mrs. Mamie G. Cook, 86, Houston, died Sunday in Houston.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Spring Branch Christian Church, Houston.

Graveside services and viewing will be 10 a.m. Thursday at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Sherrer-Hyde Park Funeral Directors, Houston, with the Rev. Harvey Wilson officiating.

She was preceded in death by husband, Terrence, in 1987.

Mr. and Mrs. Cook operated the Gulf Service Station in Kiefer for more then 40 years before moving to Houston in 1985.

She was a member of Kiefer Christian Church.

Survivors include sons Ronald K. “Jerry” of Houston, and Richard E. “Dick” of Van, Texas; five grandchildren’ and two great-grandchildren
