Pauline Staiger Coons, 76, 303 E. Marley, Kellyville, died Friday at her home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at Green Hills Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gary Staiger and Rev. Rick Bateman officiating. There will be no public visitation.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

She was born Sep 9, 1915, in Kellyville, to Joseph S. and Eva Rhoad Staiger. She was the valedictorian of her 1933 graduating Kellyville High School Class and football homecoming queen. She attended Draughon's School of Business in Tulsa. Mrs. Coons was employed by Commander Mills and was a retired secretary with the Sand Springs Railroad. She married Eldon Coons in Kansas on Nov 5, 1951. A Kellyville resident most of her life, Mrs. Coons enjoyed "Big Band" era music, literature and sewing.

Mr. Coons preceded her in death in 1980.

Survivors include brothers, Wayne Staiger of Tulsa, Roy J. Staiger, Sr., of Spavinaw, Max Staiger and Vance Staiger, both of Sapulpa.

The family will headquarter at 109 South Beach in Kellyville.
