Lafe G. Coop, 58, native resident of Creek County, died Sunday of a heart attack at Holdenville, where he lived.

He was superintendent for Chapman Oil Company and was born at Bristow March 1, 1907. He was a member of First Baptist church and Masonic Lodge at Madill.

Surviving are his widow, Francis, a daughter, Sammie Kim Sauls; a son, Lafe Sauls, three grandchildren, all of the Holdenville home; three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Kelly and Mrs. Hattie Stockton, both of Kellyville, Mrs. Lila Virgin, Kamay, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Tuesday at Holdenville. Interment will be about 4 pm at Kellyville Cemetery. Hudson Funeral Home, Holdenville, is in charge of arrangements.
