CLAUDE COOPER
Claude Ellis Cooper, 92, 423 N. 9th street, died Saturday in Sapulpa.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Pentecostal Holiness Mission church, in Sapulpa, with Rev. Ronnie Thompson and Rev. Jack Carner officiating.
Burial will follow at Kellyville Cemetery in Kellyville under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
He was born April 22, 1900, in Kellyville, Indian Territory, to William E. and Lucenda (Peacock) Cooper. He married Bertha Whisenhunt on July 12, 1922, in Kellyville. Mr. cooper was a retired farmer and oil field driller. A life-long Kellyville resident, he was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Mission Church and a avid gardener.
His wife, Bertha preceded him in death.
Survivors include son, Raymond of Sapulpa; daughter, Waneita Ireland of Sapulpa; brother, William Earl Cooper of California; sister, Elsie Thomas of Ponca City; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Casket bearers will be Gene Cooper, Joel Cooper, Louis Cooper, Bill Cooper, Lawrence Cooper and Harvey Cooper.
The family will headquarter at the Pentecostal Holiness Mission Church.
