NORMAN — Former Sapulpan Mr. Russell B. Cooper, 88, of Norman died Thursday at Cedar Creek Nursing Home, Norman.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Green Hills Memorial Gardens with Russell Casey officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Primrose Funeral Home Norman.

He was born April 28, 1899, in Dale, Ind.

Mr. Primrose graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, in 1921, with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and he worked for OG&E for 40 Years.

He was a member of First Christian Church, Chamber of Commerce, and Lions Club, all of Sapulpa; and the Masonic Lodge in Shawnee, Okla.

Survivors include daughters Virginia Stichler of Norman and Alice Christy of Athens, Ill.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
