Oma Oleva Copeland, 82, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 1995 in Bristow.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Magnolia Memorial Gardens, directed by Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home of Bristow. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Bristow, with the Rev. Roy Pike officiating.

She was born July 5, 1913 in Monticello, KY. She married James Copeland Dec. 22, 1940 in Edmond.

She graduated from Bristow High School in 1932. She attended Bristow Junior College for two years and received a teaching degree from Central State College in Edmond. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bristow.

Survivors include her husband, James Copeland of the home; a daughter, Oma Kay Murray, Bristow; a son, Buddie Alexander Copeland, Bayou Vista, LA; and four grandchildren.
