Mrs. Eva Coplen, 66, Kellyville, died at Bartlett Memorial Hospital
early Thursday.
Mrs. Coplen was born March 29, 1901 at Dawt, Mo.; and was married to
Marion F. Coplen Nov 23, 1919 at Elijah, Mo. They moved to Kellyville in
1923. She was a member of the Assembly of God church there.
Besides her husband she is survived by a cousin, Mrs. Berry Dean, 20
S. Independence and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral rites will be at 2 pm Saturday at Assembly of God, Kellyville
with the Rev. Arnold Alexander assisted by the Rev. Millard McGuire.
Burial will be in Kellyville Cemetery under direction of Owen Funeral
Home.
Pallbearers will be nephews of Mrs. Coplen: Marvin Cercy, Bilbert
Coplen, Cleo Coplen, Billy Green, Alfred Austin and DeWayne Langston.

M. F. Coplen Dies Saturday
Marion F. Coplen, 75, Kellyville, died Saturday noon at Bartlett
Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health for some time.
A retired farmer, Coplen had lived in the Kellyville area since 1921,
coming to Oklahoma from Elijah, MO, where he was born Nov 25, 1895.
He was an army veteran of World War I and was a member of Frye-Ward
Post American Legion and the VFW in Kellyville
His wife, Edna, preceded him in death in 1967.
Survivors are a brother, Sherman Coplen of Caulfield, Mo., several
nieces and nephews, including six nephews he and his wife raised: Buford
Coplen, Roswell, NM; Vibert Coplen, Tulsa; Cleo Coplen, Kellyville;
Finas Coplen, Tulsa; Clem Coplen, San Franciso, Calif; and Olaf Coplen,
Lima, Ohio.
Owen Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
