MABEL COTTOM

MOUNDS — Mabel Ruby Cottom, 80, of Mounds, died Monday at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Funeral services were held today at Duck Creek Community Church with the Rev. Paul Martin officiating.

Burial followed at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home, Bixby.

She was born Sept. 7, 1911, in Mounds. She had lived in the area since 1945. She was a member of Duck Creek Community Church.

Survivors include sons Dr. Clem Cottom, Michael H. Cottom and William P. Cottom, all of Liberty Mounds; daughter Patsy Smith of Choctaw; brother Carl of Okmulgee; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
