Charles Darius Cravens, 72, died Wednesday.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Friday, at Jenks United Methodist Church with Ed Coy Light officiating.

Burial will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow under the direction of Ninde Funeral Directors, Jenks Chapel.

Cravens was born May 28, 1920, in Jenks. He was an employee of IBM with 41 years of service. He attended Connors State College and Oklahoma State University. He was a scout leader for the Boys Scouts of America, charter member of the Arrow and former treasurer of the Jenks Senior Citizens. He was a longtime member of the Jenks United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and May Cravens, and brother James Albert Cravens.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; son, Charles D. Cravens II of Colorado; daughter, Mary Ann Iverson of Tulsa; sister, Anna Wiley of Broken Arrow; brother Donald F. Bales of Glenpool, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Donations may be made to the St. Francis Hospice or American Cancer Society.
