WILLIAM CRISWELL

ENCINITAS, Calif. - William H. Criswell, 69, of Encinitas, Calif., died Sunday at Hancock Park Convalescent Hospital in Los Angeles.

Services are pending with Owen Funeral Home.

Mr. Criswell was a retired Major in the U.S. Army who served in World War II and the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include son William H. Criswell II of Los Angeles; daughter Michelle Criswell of Los Angeles; brother Daniel Criswell of Marina del Ray, Calif., and James Criswell of San Diego.

Services for Maj. William H. Criswell will be 2 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial and full military rites will be at South Heights Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Don McMasters, Orbie Wise, Bob Powers, Leon Shadowens, John Nations and J. D. Lee. Honorary bearers will be Bill Mauch, Clarence Ezell, and Gerald Miller.

Military rites will be performed by a military detail from Fort Sill.

He died Sunday at Hancock Park Hospital in Los Angeles.
