JENKS — Thurman Ray Cross, 77, 524 N. Ivy, Jenks, died Thursday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at First Assembly of God, Jenks, with the Rev. David Stephens officiating.

Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens under the directions of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Cross was born Oct. 22, 1913, in Glenpool, and married Lucy Doshier April 3, 1940, in Jenks. He was employed as a pumper for Gulf Oil Co. and was a Jenks resident for 30 years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God, Jenks, and a former member of the Jenks Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by son Richard Lee Cross.

Survivors include wife, Lucy; brother George Cross of Tulsa; and one grandson.

Mr. Cross’ body will lie in state at Ninde Funeral Home, Jenks, Saturday and Sunday.

THURMAN CROSS

JENKS — Funeral services for Thurman R. Cross were held today at First Assembly of God, Jenks, with the Revs. David Stephens and Vernon Brummett officiating.

Burial followed at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Casketbearers were Harold Wilmott, Vernon Creason, Bob Pilgrim, Glen Davis, Eli Glass and Paul Bradley.
