CURRAN

Mrs. Marie (Howey) Curran, 73, of Sapulpa, died Friday.

No services are planned.

Cremation and arrangements are with Ninde’s Funeral Home in Tulsa.

She was born March 25, 1915, in Weir, Kan.

She graduated from Central High School, Tulsa, in 1933 and entered St. John’s School of Nursing in 1935. She graduated as a registered nurse and her first position was as a night supervisor at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital in Tulsa.

Mrs. Curran moved to Sapulpa and joined the Bartlett Memorial Medical Center Staff. She also did private nursing and nursing at the Cleveland Okla., Hospital.

She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Cleveland, Okla.

Survivors include twin brother Marion, brothers Earl, Riley and John of Jal, N. M.; sister Neaketa of Tulsa; and several nieces and nephews.
