D. W. (Delton) Davis, 92, Ranch Terrace Nursing Center, died Thursday at the center.

Services will be 2 pm Monday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Vernie Edwards officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

He was born May 13, 1897, in Taney County, Mo., and moved to the Sapulpa area from Braggs 61 yeas ago.

Mr. Davis was a veteran of World War I serving in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the local American Legion.

He retired from Liberty Glass as a tank operator and attended the Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Margarite, earlier this year.

Survivors include sons Grady Davis and Dallas Davis, both of Sapulpa; daughters Leota Modley and Audry McGuire, both of Sapulpa; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
