Davis, 30, of Kellyville, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006 at
Skiatook Lake while at a family outing with family and friends.
He was born Dec. 13, 1975 in Modesto, Calif., and later moved to
Oklahoma as a teenager. He attended Sapulpa High School and was
employed as a carpet installer with Don Feltz of Owasso.
Johnny was also very active with the Sapulpa Baseball
Association and head coach for the Vipers. His favorite pastimes
included fishing and spending time with his children, family and
friends as the kid at heart he always was. You'll be missed and
with us all, Johnny, until we meet on the other side.
John Paul was preceded in death by his "dad"? Dennis Darnell, of
Sapulpa; his grandparents; his father-in-law, Arthur Smith, of
Kellyville; and his brother of heart, Brandon Bruner, of
Sapulpa.
John Paul is survived by: his wife, Joann Davis, of Kellyville;
two sons, Dakota Davis, of Kellyville, and Logan Wolfe, of
Sapulpa; one daughter, Mykka Wolfe, of Sapulpa; his mother,
JaDeana Davis, of Sapulpa; father Ernest (Corky) Davis, of
Blackwell; one sister, JaDeana Darnell, of Turlock, Calif.; two
brothers, Josh Davis, currently residing in Montana, and Jason
Darnell and his family, of Kiefer; and other family members,
including numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and
many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2006 at
Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church.
Services will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
