MARY ETTA DAVIS, 53 YEARS RESIDENT OF SAPULPA, DIES

Mrs. Mary Etta Davis, 86, 511 South Linden, died at Bartlett Memorial hospital shortly after 1 pm Friday. She had been a patient there since September 12 for treatment of a heart condition.

Born in Winfield, Kan., June 15, 1874. Mrs. Davis had lived in Sapulpa for 53 years. She was the Widow of E. C. Davis, long time Sapulpan, who died here in 1939. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Stacy B. Elkins, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Myron A. Marz, Pampa, Tex.; Mrs. Forrest E. Warehime, Cherokee, Okla.; and Mrs. Frank R. Stuber, San Diego, California; a son J. O. Davis, Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Chapel, with Rev. C. L. DeVore, First Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Perkins, Okla. Cemetery where graveside services will be held at 2 pm Monday.
