Sapulpa Herald
Sapulpa, Oklahoma
April 10, 2006 Sandra “Sandie” Kay
Davis was born Aug. 3, 1947 in Washington, Penn. Sandie lived
most of her life in Illinois, Texas and Oklahoma, where she
raised her children.
Loved by so many, Sandie Kay Davis left our world to join our
Heavenly Father on April 9, 2006.
Sandie believed her greatest accomplishments were her three
children, and she was affectionately known by them as “Momma.”
Sandie had a talent and love of arts and crafts, music and
animals. She was a caregiver, humanitarian and had a very
personal relationship with Jesus. The greatest gift to all her
family was unending humor and honesty. She judged no one by
their appearance and looked only to their heart.
Sandie was preceded in death by her father, William Donald
Davis, and her mother, Lillian Jean Hammett-Davis.
She is survived by: her sisters, Becky Lee Pauley, of Wixom,
Mich., Donna Jean Keep, of Freeport, Ill., and Bonnie Ruth
Campbell, of Beaver Creek, Ohio; her husband, Robert Pierce, of
Sapulpa; daughter Vaunda Kay Pendergraft, and her fiance, Frank
M. Olivera, of Catoosa; son D. Matthew Wagenknecht and wife,
Katherine R., of Colorado Springs; daughter Elizabeth Ann
(Kitchen) Mozingo and husband John T., of Sapulpa; stepdaughter
Amanda N. Pierce, of Sapulpa; stepdaughter Carrie Breeding and
stepson Ronald Pierce, of Port Orchard, Wash.; and 15
grandchildren, James Ryan, Kiersten Renee, Kailey Marie, Paul
S., Skyler, Bradley M. and Ashley A. (twins), Amber Skye,
Michael Allen, Amanda J., Hunter Matthew, Matthew T., Dylan
Evan, Cameron James and Ethan Paul. Sandie is also survived by
many close friends, including Doyle Charles, Red Mann, Ray
Barada, Aaron Wilson and her beloved chihuahua, Sassy.
Graveside respects for family and friends will be at 2 p.m.
