Mr. Stanley Eugene Davis, 45, of Sapulpa died Saturday in his home.

Memorial services are set for 10 am Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel with the Rev. Thomas P. Eggebeen officiating.

Mr. Davis was born July 11, 1942, in Morris, Okla., and moved to Sapulpa as a child. He was a member of the first Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include brother Don of Henrietta, NY; sister Dorothy Ann Langford of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and sister-in-law Mrs. Jim Davis of Parsons, Kan.

Sapulpa police found a local man dead at his home over the weekend and believe the death was a suicide.

Tom Clark of SPD said Stanley Eugene Davis, 45, 519 S. Oklahoma, died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Police were dispatched to the home at 12:20 pm Saturday after a call from a concerned neighbor.

Carl said the incident is still under investigation, but no foul play is suspected at this time.
