VIRGIE DAVIS

Virgie E. Davis, 91, 236 W. Lee, died Wednesday at her home.

Services will be 1:30 pm Saturday at Sapulpa Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. James Spear, E. H. Sanders and Harold R. Morgan officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Oct 15, 1898, in Honey Grove, Texas, and moved to Sapulpa in 1944 from Borger, Texas.

Mrs. Davis sold Avon for 50 years.

Survivors include sons Maurice Davis of Tulsa, and Windy Davis and Billy Davis, both of Sapulpa; daughters Bobbie Ward of Sapulpa; sisters Ruth McVay of Bixby, Gladys Trammell of Tulsa, Pauline Scheibach of Littleton, Colo., and Ola Feighner of Sapulpa; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The Family will headquarter at 236 W. Lee.

Casketbearers were Dewayne Robinson, Bud Armitage, Harold Cooper, Leo Smith, Cleo Smith and Worrell Dees.

Honorary bearers were Bob Donaldson, Bob Bush, Al Giese, Troy Matlock, Howard K. Jones. Dick Yocham and Dr. Michael Ward.
