Ethel Mae Deselem of Sapulpa died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at Northside Nursing Center at the age of 89.

Mrs. Deselem was born April 26, 1912 in Springfield, Ohio and had lived in Sapulpa since 1952, when she moved here from Springfield. She had worked for Gibson's and T.G.&Y. as a clerk. She was a member of the First Church of God and of the Happy Warriors Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, in 1972.

Survivors are two daughters, Nancy Young of Sapulpa and Donna Jackson of Lavon, Texas; five grandchildren Jack Young Jr. of Sapulpa, Pam Moses of Sapulpa, Sandy McCarter, Randy Jackson and Vickie Martinez, all of Texas.; eight great-grandchildren Jennifer Young, Jonathan Young, Jacci Lou Young and Brody Moses, all of Sapulpa, Landon Moses, Chere Estrada, Lindsey Wingo and Ricky Martinez, all of Texas; one great-great-grandchild Hailey Estrada of Texas.; one sister Edith Kauffman of Springfield, Ohio.

Funeral services have been set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2002, in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Loren Stephenson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home of Sapulpa.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jack Hancock, Henry Waldroupe, Larry Bailey, Edgar McGuire, Fred Parks, Jim Hale, John Dicus and Charles Sellers.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
