Otto Dickens, 83, 2601 S. Hickory, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday at Southside Christian Church with Russell Casey and Tony Thornton officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith funeral Home.

Mr. Dickens was born June 28, 1908, in Brownfield, MO, and moved to Sapulpa 54 years ago. 

He was retired from McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Company. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Mr. Dickens was also a farmer and an avid gardener. Mr. Dickens and his wife, Helen, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 23.

Other survivors include sons David Dickens of Bank, Ore., Kenneth, Dale and Wayne Dickens, all of Sapulpa; and daughter Joy Tennant of Sapulpa.

Funeral services for Otto Dickens were held today at Southside Christian Church with Russell Casey and Tony Thornton officiating.

Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith funeral Home.

Casketbearers were Hugh Dawson, Lee Roy Hudson, Pat Pray, Fred Mauch, Buck Hupman, Bud Martelle and Jim Brown.

Honorary bearers were Dr. J. W. Frederick, Roy Monger, H. C. Speed, Arthur Beesley, Troy Wiggins, Bob Powers and Tom Upton.
