Era Mae Doudican, 78, Sapulpa, died Friday at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa following a brief illness.

Services will be 10 am Monday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Connell Ghormley officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

She was active in the Sapulpa Historical Society and was currently serving as a member of the board of directors.

She also was a member of the Women’s Chamber of commerce, Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and the Sapulpa Community Theatre.

Born Feb 18, 1912, in Sapulpa, she had lived here all her life. She was married to Jack Doudican who preceded her in death in 1984.

Survivors include son Toney of Quartz Mountain State Park; and two grandchildren.

The casket will not be opened after the services.

The family request donations be made to the Sapulpa Historical Society.

The family will headquarter at the home of Mrs. Margaret Odell, 1223 E. Terresa today between 2-6 pm.

ERA DOUDICAN

Services for Era Mae Doudican were today at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Connell Ghormley officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Serving as casketbearers were Irving Bartlett, Glenn Cole, Ken Blackburn, Streeter Sparkman, Ralph DeLang and Frank Gierhart.

Mrs. Doudican, a livelong Sapulpa resident, died Friday at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.
