Fred F. Doughton, 85, of Sapulpa died today at Ranch Terrace Nursing Center.

Services are pending with Owen funeral Home.

Mr. Doughton was born Sep 14, 1904, in Old Mannford and moved to Sapulpa in 1917.

He retired from jobs at Bartlett Colling Glass Co., and the Creek County Courthouse.

Mr. Doughton was a life member of I.O.O.F. in Sapulpa. He played the mandolin and tuned pianos for many years.

Survivors include son Dean Doughton of Albuquerque, stepson Eugene Carson of Los Angeles; one grand son; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will headquarter at the Gerald G. Hargrove home, 824 Terrace Drive.
