DOLA MAE DOWNS

Dola Mae Downs, 88, of Sapulpa died Saturday at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born in Erick on April 6, 1903. She has been a resident of Sapulpa since 1979, when she moved here from California. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include daughter Bernice Hays of Sapulpa; sons W. F. Downs of Arkansas and C. W. Downs of Gilmer, Texas; brothers W. F. Gardner of Luling, Texas, and Jim Gardner of Denver, Colo.; sisters Dess Smyther of Plainview, Texas, Faye Cox of Amarillo, Texas, Irene Greico of Hesperia, Calif., and Leola Ward of Tulsa.

The family will headquarter at the Bernice Hays residence, 1930 S. Water.
