Orval V. Drinkuth, 74, 18 Stagecoach Drive, died Thursday at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Services are to be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Smith Funeral Chapel with Dr. John Nelsen officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Drinkuth was born Dec. 18, 1919 in Edwardsville, Ind. and was a Sapulpa resident for four years moving here from Washington. He was a retired welder, an Army veteran of World War II and married Rachel Gross on July 12, 1941 in Evanston, Wyo.

He is survived by wife Rachel of the home; daughter Susan Gribbens of Sapulpa; brother Ralph Drinkuth of Vincennes, Ind.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services for Orval A. Drinkuth were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Nelsen officiating.

Burial was to follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Drinkuth, a Sapulpa resident for the past four years, died Thursday in Tulsa.
