CLAYTON DUCKWORTH
Clayton O. Duckworth, 75, of Sapulpa, died Saturday at Ranch Terrace Nursing
Home.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the
Rev. Connell Ghormley officiating.
Burial will be at Green Hills
Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
He was born Nov. 9, 1914, in Cherokee. A Sapulpa resident since 1936, Mr.
Duckworth was a retired conductor for Frisco Railroad.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church and served on the Church Board,
the Sapulpa Elks Lodge and the Brotherhood of Frisco Railroad. He was also a
32nd degree Mason in the Sapulpa Masonic Lodge. McAlester Consistory.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Duckworth, in March.
Survivors include wife Billie; brothers
Eugene Duckworth of Tulsa and Donald Ray Duckworth of Littleton, Colo.; and
sister Lela Mae King of Ontario, Calif.
The family will headquarter at the Doris Hicks residence, 1317 E. Jackson. In
lieu of other remembrances, the family suggest donations be made to the first
Untied Methodist Church Memorial fund.

Funeral services for Clayton O. Duckworth were today at the First United
Methodist Church with the Rev. Connell Ghormley officiating.
Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith
funeral Home.
Casket bearers were Fred Peebles, Bob Stewart, Kenneth Stanley, C. R. Thompson,
Bob Parkins, Hubert Aston and Ralph DeLong.
