Charles B. Dugger, of Sapulpa, died Friday.
Dugger was a retired landman for Gulf Oil and Warren Petroleum. He was a former owner of A&W Drive-in, in Sapulpa, attended Tulsa public schools and was a graduate of Tulsa Central.
He graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1935, where he was a member of the Tulsa University Athletic Hall of Fame. Dugger was an All American football player for
T.U. He holds the state record championship for low hurdles. He attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church and was a member of the Sapulpa Elk's Lodge and University of Tulsa Alumni Association.
He is survived by his wife, Mary G. Dugger; sons Charles B. Dugger Jr. of Sacramento, CA, William M. Dugger, Tulsa and John Robert Dugger, Sapulpa; brother Bert
Dugger, Hutchison, KS and sister Nola Roberts, Medford, OR; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The service is scheduled for 2 pm Monday, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. He will be buried at Oaklawn Cemetery.
