Theodosha Durant of Slick, 101, died Oct 9, 1991, in Berkeley, Calif.
Services were held Oct 14, 1991, in Roger Chapel Baptist Church in Slick with
Rev. Dewitt Nash officiating. Internment was held at Tuskegee Cemetery in
Tuskegee with the Dyer Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by five daughters and three sons; Estella McGee of Kansas City.
Mo.; Robert Durant of Wichita, Ks.; Leonard Durant of Kansas City, Mo.; Della
May Gupton of Berkeley, Calif.; Ernestine Rex of Los Angeles, Calif.; Lillian
Scandrick of Englewood, Calif.; Benjamin Charles Durant of Dayton, Ohio; Bertie
Gupton of Pleasant Hill, Calif.
She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters; Thomas Aaron Leeks of
Inlow, Calif.; Hobert D. Leeks of Wichita, Ks.; Nettie Ervin of Kansas City,
Mo.; and Pearl J. Gaines of Wichita, Ks.
She was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter; Venon Durant, Thomas
Durant and Wilma Steine Durant.
She was survived in death by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
