Mr. Bobby Joe Dye, 46, of Route 6, died Thursday, of an apparent heart attack at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are set for 10:30 am Saturday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Everett Kieffer and Johnny Bilby officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Dye was born January 12, 1941, in Sapulpa and had lived here all his life. He was an U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, and a member of the Blue Bell Free Will Baptist Church. A member of the Kellyville round-Up club, he was employed by the Creek County Highway Department.

Survivors include wife Kay; mother Mrs. May Kelin; daughters Anita Wefer, Paula Dye, and Pamela Dye, all of Sapulpa; sisters Elnora Moore of Line, Ill., Jeane Goad of Sapulpa, Betty Mitchell of Fort Gibson, Ark., and Elaine Bilby of Sapulpa; brothers Dib Turner of Kellyville and Kenneth Dye of Lubbock, Texas.

The family will headquarter at Mrs. Kelin’s home, 202 S. Walnut.
