PHILIP EAKES

Philip George Eakes Sr., 44, of Tulsa, died Wednesday at Saint Francis Hospital.

Graveside services were held today at South Heights Cemetery with the Rev. Jonas Partridge officiating.

Burial followed under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Eakes was born Feb. 21, 1947 in Sapulpa, and had lived here all of his life.

Survivors include wife Myrna; mother Acie Mae Barnett Eakes; son Philip G. Eakes Jr.; daughters Cinday Jones and Angel Cornell; brothers Daye Barnett and Hughey Eakes; sister Josephine Keith; and four grandchildren.
