Ermalea Julia Eaves, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 1998. 

She was born on February 24, 1918 in Drumright, Oklahoma to John Melton Kendrick and May Mary Jeffries. She married J. W. Eaves in Kilgore, Texas in 1935, this September they would've celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. The Eaves came to Hobbs, NM in 1947, moved to Albuquerque in 1955 and settled in Santa Fe in 1959. 

Mrs. Eaves is survived by her husband, J. W. Eaves; son, Mel Eaves and his wife, Mary Ann; daughter, Patricia Eaves; four grandchildren, Craig Eaves, Jessica Eaves, Megan Egenes and Julialea Egenes; and one great-grandchild, Jesse Kendrick Eaves. 

A private family burial was held at the Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe on Tuesday, July 28, 1998. 

In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions be made to the Make A Wish Foundation, 5301 Central Ave NE, Suite 203, Alb, NM 87108.
