Mr. Charlie V. Edwards, 70, Sapulpa died Saturday at home.
Services will be 2 pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Overton
Washington officiating.
Burial will be at Green Hill Memorial
Gardens.
Casket bearers will be Bubb Jones, Sonny Jones, Jimmy Bells, John Firey, Keith
Broom and Jim Rogers. Honorary bearers will be Kenneth Firey and Ernest Jones.
Mr. Edwards was born Oct 9, 1916, in Pearidge, Ark. He lived in the Sapulpa area
for the past 68 years. He attended Pretty Water School.
Mr. Edwards retired from Liberty Glass in 1979 after 21 years with the company.
Survivors include son Tommy of Mount Pleasant, Ark.; daughters Carolyn Peeks,
Bobbie Saunders, Janet McLaughlin and Glenda Moore, all of Sapulpa; sister
Martha McCord of Sapulpa; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will be headquartered at Edward’s Acres, north of Sapulpa.
