Leonard E. Edwards, 67, 1136 E. McLeon, died Saturday, December 24, 1994, at Bartlett Memorial Hospital.

Services have been scheduled for 10 am Tuesday at Smith Funeral Chapel under the direction of Rev. Vernon Howard. Burial will be held at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Edwards was born November 9, 1927 in Sapulpa, and had lived in the area for most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a trailer mechanic.

Edwards was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by a son Danny Edwards.

He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home; his mother, Ethel Edwards; daughters Sandra Brown and Karen Williams, both of Sapulpa; a sister, Delora Wackerly, Sapulpa; plus four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Leonard Edwards were held at 10 am today in the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Vernon Howard officiating.

Interment followed in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith funeral Home.

Serving as casketbearers were Wally Roush, Skip Brooks, Max Cook, David Block, Steve McCormick and David Ficker.

Edwards, a Sapulpa resident most of his life, died Saturday, December 24, 1994.
