ELDRIDGE

KELLYVILLE — Mr. Haskell “Hack” Eldridge, 79, Kellyville, died Saturday at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa.

Services are set for 2 pm Tuesday at First United Methodist church, Sapulpa, with the Revs. Don Williams and Connell Ghromley officiating.

Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Eldridge was born July 11, 1908, in Sapulpa, and graduated from Sapulpa High School.

He went to work for OG&E in 1929 as a meter reader and later became an engineer, local representative in Beggs and a substation operator in Sapulpa. He retired in 1973.

Mr. Eldridge married Velma Daniels in Stillwater on April 2, 1937.

He was a active leader in Boy Scouts of America and was awarded the Silver Beaver award in scouting. He also was a member of the Beggs Lions Club and the First Untied Methodist Church in Sapulpa.

Survivors include wife Velma; daughter Mrs. Bill 'Linda" Greenshields of Red Rock, Okla; and two grandchildren.

Casket bearers are Gene Smith, Lloyd Lamb, Clyde Hughey, Jim Stewart, Bob Stewart and Hatch Hutcherson. Honorary bearers are Maurice Lampton, Lem Rhodes, Lynn Cunningham, Don Harrison and OG&E employees.
