MRS. JOSEPHINE ELDRIDGE DIES AT HOME TUESDAY

Mrs. Josephine Eldridge, age 86, mother of Ira F. Eldridge, died at her home 419 North Third street, at 9:45 Tuesday evening. She follows in death, her husband, Floyd E. Eldridge, who died last February 11.

The deceased is survived by her son, Ira F., of Sapulpa, a brother of Bellfontaine, Ohio, six grandchildren, three of them, Haskell, Vernon and Mrs. Floyd Wright, of Sapulpa, a grandson in Jacksonville, Fla., another enroute to Oakland, Calif., and a granddaughter of Douglas, Wyo.

The deceased was born in Arlington, Ohio, January 5, 1850. She left Ohio at the age of 22 and came to Kansas to live with her sister, Mary Huff, later moving to McAlester in 1877. Two years later she married Floyd E. Eldridge, February 12, 1879, in McAlester. After residing in Denison, Texas, some time, came to Sapulpa in 1901.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. F. Graham at 4 o’clock Thursday afternoon from the Lewis and Landrith Chapel. Interment was made in Sapulpa Cemetery.
