NAOMI ELLIOTT

ROCKLIN, Calif. - Former Sapulpan Naomi L. (Babe) Elliott, 94, of rocklin, Calif., died Tuesday in Rocklin.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church Chapel with the Rev. John Nelsen officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Dec 19, 1898, in Springfield, Mo. She lived in Sapulpa from 1905 to 1974, when she moved to Rocklin.

Mrs. Elliott was a member of First Presbyterian Church, first president of the church Women's Society, secretary from the Eastern Oklahoma Presbyterian, member and past Matron of Radiant Chapter of Eastern Star, member of the Bartlett Hospital Auxiliary and awarded the Woman of distinction award in Rocklin.

Survivors include son John W. Elliott of Rocklin; sister Esther Ketchum of Tulsa; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Elliott’s body will lie in state until 1 pm at the funeral home. The casket will not be opened at the service.

In lieu of other remembrances, the family suggest donations to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.

The family will headquarter at the Charles Baxter residence, 128 N. Moccasin Pl., Sunday and Monday afternoons.

Funeral services for Naomi L. “Babe” Elliott were held today at First Presbyterian Memorial Chapel with the Rev. John Nelsen officiating.

Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Elliott died May 19 in Roseville, Calif.
