PAUL EVANS
BIG CABIN — Paul Joseph Evans, 80, died Friday at Saint fracis Hospital in
Tulsa.
Services were today at First Assembly of God, Chelsea.
Burial was at Green Hills Memorial
Gardens under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service of
Claremore.
He was born March 12, 1910, in Riverside County, Calif. He moved to Big Cabin in
1938.
A retired Frisco Railroad telegrapher, Mr. Evans was a former Stroud city
Councilman and a member of the Condry Chapel Pentecostal Church near Big Cabin
and the Brotherhood of Telegraph Operators.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy, in 1963.
Survivors include sons Arthur Evans of Sapulpa, Charles Evans and Richard
Morrison, both of Wichita, Kan.; daughter Elsie Redden of Sapulpa; brother
Eugene Evans of Paris, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren.
