JESSIE FARRIS

Jessie Mae Farris, 78, Jones Nursing Home in Jones, Okla., died Tuesday at Hillcrest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Graveside services will be 2 pm Thursday at South Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, with the Rev. Dan Larremore officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

The casket will not be opened at the services. Mrs. Farris will lie in state at the funeral home until 1 p.m. Thursday.

She was born Nov 29, 1910, in Henryetta. She lived in Jones for the past two years, moving there from Newalla, Okla.

Mrs. Farris also was a former Sapulpa resident.

Survivors include son Donald L. Allen of Ocean Side, Calif.; daughter Dorothy Heath of Sapulpa; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
